Steven Ross is a born communicator. At the age of 17, he began honing his skills by contributing to the local newspaper in his hometown of La Tuque, followed by regular contributions to the student paper and radio. He later freelanced as a writer for various specialty magazines. After living in the U.K. for six months, Steven decided to leave London and jump into public relations at UQAM. During this time, he also contributed to various freelance projects such as video shootings, promoting tourism events and coordinating film premieres. Steven has notably been responsible for the logistics of several promotional tours in the film industry. These experiences have supplied him with an excellent base for his young public relations career.

At Morin

A fresh graduate, Steven was recruited at Morin Relations Publiques in May 2010 following an internship at the agency. Every day, he teams up with several counsellors to coordinate various mandates and to ensure that projects are realised in accordance with the set objectives. His enthusiastic approach makes him a colleague well-appreciated by his teammates as well as the clients. An experienced writer, his words benefit the whole team, whether he works on press releases, presentations or pitches. Skilled in media relations as well as in event logistics, Steven knows how to go the extra mile to turn every project into a successful one.
